German Speciality Variety. The Heidi Red (Heiderot) potato has long shaped tubers with bright red skin and flesh. Heiderot is characterised by a red meat colour and a slightly buttery, delicious potato taste. It is ideal for salads and boiled potatoes, as well as wedges.  Try some mashed! They look amazing on your plate. The red looks amazing in a Dauphinoise.

All varieties listed here are grown in the UK by Potato House and most are available to purchase (seasonal from autumn to mid spring).  They are delivered to your door and so there is no excuse not to experiment with unusual varieties, however we do have standard white potatoes if you prefer!
