In the quest to find the perfect and best roast potatoes, lovepotatoes.co.uk commissioned independent tests and tastings on over 85 bags* of potatoes in small batches to find the optimum time and method of tatty cooking for the modern cook.
The research compared the performance of a range of cooking oils - from olive, sunflower and rapeseed oils and goose fat to the on-trend coconut and avocado oils. The research used the Rolls Royce of potatoes, the Maris Piper, but King Edwards also make fluffy roasties.
